The Chairman of the Gordonstoun Board of Governors, David White and The Principal, Peter Green, hosted an event at the Caledonian Club in London on 1 September 2025 to award a Fellowship to HRM Senator NFON MUKETE IV EKOKO (Nfon is the traditional title of King). His Majesty was Recognised for his international business acumen and transformative work in modernising tribal rule in Cameroon. 

40 guests gathered for lunch, including members of The Nfon's family and the Cameroonian High Commissioner to the UK and Ambassador to Finland. Also gathered together were distinguished guests and friends from Cameroon and across the world, who had travelled to join the celebration. There were a number of OGs present along with Nfon's housemaster in Bruce, Ben Goss OBE MVO.
