The Class of 2020 experienced a uniquely bittersweet conclusion to their time at Gordonstoun. While some may have welcomed the cancellation of their final A-level exams, the Covid-19 pandemic meant they left school at Easter and did not return as students. Among the many missed milestones was their Leavers' Ball, a rite of passage for every Gordonstoun student. 

On Saturday, 20th September, members of the Class of 2020 gathered at the Oriental Club in London for a  long-awaited reunion to mark five years since leaving school. This event may well set the precedent for future five-year reunions, and it was heartening to welcome back so many familiar faces. The evening was filled with laughter, shared memories of Gordonstoun adventures, reflections on the past few years, and conversations about hopes for the future. 

As with so many OGs before them, the room was filled with warmth, positivity, and a deep appreciation for the Gordonstoun experience. We look forward to seeing them again at future Gordonstoun Gatherings and wish them every success in their upcoming adventures.
