On the 9th and 10th May we were delighted to host three alumni from Anavryta School in Athens, Greece. 

Anavryta was a sister school of Gordosntoun, and was founded by Jocelin Winthrop-Young, one of Gordonstoun's first students. It was also a founder member of the Round Square organisation. 

Elias Galanopolous, Spyros Paxinos and Dimitris Svolopoulos joined us to explore how Gordonstoun interprets Hahn in the 21st Century, and they enjoyed time speaking with senior staff, meeting students, enjoying a delicious dinner in Hahn's old drawing room, and watching the year 10 expeditions head off for four days of adventure. They even managed to get to the West Coast to join the crew of Ocean Spirit for a tour of the boat. 

We hope that this visit will bring the schools even closer in the months and years ahead. .
