Congratulations to OG and Gordonstoun Fellow, Professor Mike Giles FRS, who has been announced today as a Fellow of the Royal Society.

Mike has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society, which is a Fellowship of many of the world's most eminent scientists and is the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence.

Mike joins 'the ranks of Stephen Hawking, Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Lise Meitner, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar and Dorothy Hodgkin'. You can read more about this year's Royal Society Fellows and the honour awarded here.
